I want to thank you for your genuine interest in our progress & outstanding after sales service ensuring we are truly suited to one another. Tara is the nicest horse I have ever owned – truly what dreams are made of. She is a pleasure to have around & loves competing but best of all she has the most affectionate nature. Purchasing a new horse in this day & age can be quite risky, but you have made the process easy, being understanding & friendly & have true to your word. I would not hesitate to recommend your lovely horses & your service to anybody looking for a quality horse & encourage them to give you a call. I look forward to years of fun & success with Tara & will keep you posted as we progress.
Best Wishes

Hi Claudia and Steve, its Katie Haines, who recently purchased the 2 year
old by Kojak. He is known as Ronnie here, as we have several Wills already!
Sorry we havent been in touch more often but we havent really done much
with him yet, none of us can wait until hes 3, we are all wishing the months
away! We have turned him away with one of our old ponies and they are the
best of friends! We are so thrilled with him, I dont think we could have
bought a nicer horse! Thank you for selling him to us, hope to speak to you
soon.
Lots of love,
The Haines family and Ronnie! x x x |

Dear Claudia,
Just a quick note to say how delighted we are with Stef. He is proving
himself to be the scopey, capable, alert, but safe quality sport horse you
described.
Although initially unsure about buying a warm blood to go eventing, Stef
completely won us over with his flatwork standards, show jumping and his
enthusiasm for cross country. Thank you again Claudia for suggesting and
then organising the cross country excursion (Stef's first!) to Great
Witchingham. It proved the deciding factor in our purchase.
Previous to finding Stef, Mum and I toured the country clocking up thousands
of miles and becoming very despondent about finding a nice, young, genuine
horse to take eventing. When I initially phoned, you assured me the trip
from Devon to Norfolk would be worthwhile and you were right. It was a
refreshing surprise to find a horse exactly as described and advertised.
Three months on we remain delighted and Stef has received several
compliments from others who are also looking for that elusive 'young,
quality potential eventer'.
I shall of course keep you informed of our progress and can not wait to
start competing. It is going to be interesting to see what we accomplish in
our first season.
I would like to share with future customers how honest you are and that with
other 'dealers' you do not necessarily get what you pay for. I know of
other (NOT CSO) top quality (and price!) horse dealers who even take
different horses to be x rayed, to ensure the horse passes the vet, which
from a buyers perspective is a horrendous thought.
To be able to buy a horse from someone you can trust therefore is a huge
relief and quite a rarity. Stef is a credit to you and it is my pleasure to
recommend CSO Sport horses to all future customers . Your honest, helpful
approach has been much appreciated. From organising the actual trial of
Stef, through to taking him for the additional X rays and vetting (which all
totally corresponded with the ones you already had!!) and then actually
bringing him to Devon on Christmas Eve!
Kind regards to you, Steve and Megan.

Dear Claudia
Just a quick note to say how thrilled I am with Leroy 6 months after buying him from you. Having decided not to travel more than 2 hours to view prospective horses I then saw photos of Leroy on your website & changed my mind about the journey to Norfolk. On trying him at Great Witchingham I was impressed by his attitude on the xc considering he hadnt seen such fences before & thought he was just great - I am also very fond of beautiful grey horses who jump well, so it wasnt a difficult decision to make that he was the one for me.
He is a delightful horse who is so enthusiastic about life and just loves to compete. He doesn't particularly relish practising dressage at home & much prefers to go for a gallop or a hack. However he seems to be in his element in competitions and so far has exceeded all my expectations. Horses in my life have to fit around a non-horsey husband and children & as a result we dont compete a huge amount but in the few competitions we have done, I have been delighted with his performance. Due to family commitments we were not particularly well prepared for his first intro event & having not competed xc before I was rather apprehensive as to what he would think about the whole day. He was fabulous in all 3 phases & ended up 1 point behind the winner in 2nd place! I hope that he will continue to find eventing as much fun and I am looking forward to moving on to pre-novice in the near future.
I am having such fun with Leroy & love him to bits & am very pleased that I made that trip to Norfolk last October. Many thanks for finding such a lovely horse!
Best wishes to you Steve & Megan

Dear Claudia,
Just a line to say thank you for organising a fantastic trip to Holland last October. My daughter Chantelle and I really enjoyed it, and would recommend anyone given a chance to go with you to jump at the opportunity! You took care of everything, ferried us round, wined and dined us, and introduced us to some beautiful horses.
We visited a number of yards in Holland on our trip, and were made very welcome in all of them. We were never made to feel awkward if we didn’t particularly like a horse, and you were always on hand to offer an unbiased opinion. Your advice that we spend two days with you, so that we could re-visit the horses we liked on the second day, proved to be totally correct. We first met Archie, an 8 year old Hanoverian, in the middle of our first day - by which time it was all becoming a bit of a blur. When he stormed round like a giraffe on speed, I wasn’t convinced that he would ever do a dressage test! However, there was no doubt that he could jump, and, with Chantelle already in love, we went back for another look the next morning.
When we saw Archie loose in the school that second day, I knew that we just had to have him - he can certainly move. So you negotiated with the yard owner for us, organised his vetting, and his transport home (OK, so they delivered the wrong horse, but that was hardly your fault!) and have continually followed up on his progress.
Archie’s dressage still needs some attention, but even so he usually scores over 60%, and once he learns that the aim of dressage is not to get in the arena, do the job and get out again as quickly as possible, he will no doubt score much higher. He is a forward going and enthusiastic ride, and I will happily work on his outline for the next 10 years if necessary. Chantelle has already competed Archie at show jumping a few times, and went clear in her first British Novice last week. Her aim is the Horse of the Year Show – and you never know, this horse might just do it. But perhaps more importantly for us, Archie is a real gentleman with lovely manners, a great attitude, a good head on his shoulders and loads of personality - he is also beautiful to look at (the photos never do him justice). We absolutely adore him and will never be able to thank you enough for finding him for us,
Best Regards
Sally Johnson
